Castello

Castello

Castello

In 1947, Castello was founded by Carlo Scotti in Cantù (south of Lake Como in Northern Italy). Scotti, one of the most influential pioneers of briar pipe making, must be mentioned in the same breath as Alfred Dunhill and Sixten Ivarsson.

In the early 1980s, Scotti's daughter Savina and her husband Franco Coppo (nicknamed 'Kino') took over the management of the company step by step.

Despite the large footsteps they preserved Carlo Scotti's legacy after his death in 1988 and developed Pipa Castello to the most prestigious address for Italian luxury pipes. Castello stands for classic design, inventiveness and uncompromising quality.
