Stanwell

Stanwell was founded in 1948 by Poul Nielsen († 1982). The company soon became one of the most famous and biggest pipe manufacturers worldwide. Over the years, almost all Danish pipe artisans like Sixten Ivarsson, Jess Chonowitsch, Tom Eltang and Poul Winsløw have designed pipe models for Stanwell.

In 2010, production was relocated from Borup in Denmark to Italy, due to high costs and declining demand. So Stanwell could maintain its high quality standards and keep prices at an affordable level.
